Dental Hygienists

A Dental Hygienist’s main focus is on assisting their patients in maintaining good oral health and providing them with the necessary education and tools to do so.

In our office when you come in for your regularly scheduled cleaning (scaling or recall) appointment you will be scheduled in with one of our 5 Dental Hygenists. Working directly with their patients and the other dental health professionals within the office, they ensure the patient receives the most comprehensive care for the state of their gum and oral health. This may be done through evaluation methods such as full periodontal recordings or through conducting assessments of what oral hygiene aids would be best suited for the patient to use in their home care after they leave our office. Bringing to the table a vast mixture of skill, expertise and care for the best interest of their patient is what makes this group of women so diverse.
